Who is this for?

Someone who is going to read and send each application themselves, and who would rather send twelve true ones than two hundred guesses.

If what you want is a bot that applies to two hundred jobs while you sleep, this is not it. Those bots get accounts banned2, and the applications they send have your name on them.

Does it apply for me?

No. Never. Not behind a setting.

Job Bot never submits an application, sends a message or contacts anyone. It hands you a document and a record of what changed. Pressing send is a thing a person does.

Where do the jobs come from?

Your agent’s own search and its browser. Job Bot does not run a job board and does not scrape one.

On Claude, the ZipRecruiter and Indeed connectors work beside it: their listings, Job Bot’s facts, one conversation.

What does it know about me, and where does it live?

Your facts, the documents you gave it, and your pipeline: which version went to which posting, and when. Nothing else.

It lives on Rails. Your History holds every application and every version, and every call Job Bot makes on your behalf. Export it or delete it from there, any time, without asking anyone. Your Gmail, your calendar and your browsing stay with your agent; Job Bot never holds those tokens.

Will this get me a job?

No promise. Nobody who makes one can keep it.
